Founded by veterans of the video game and film industries, Tangerine Apps is a combination of the best of both worlds, providing custom content and enterprise apps in today's technological world. Our studio is located in the sunny beach town of El Segundo California.
The Co Founders
Dogan Koslu
Dogan Koslu has been making high quality top-selling games for over 20 years. As co-founder of Treyarch, he helped revolutionize the gaming industry with titles such as Spider-man and Tony Hawk. Under his guidance as President, Treyarch was acquired by publishing giant Activision.
More recently, Koslu has turned his attention to mobile apps as the founder and developer of Smartbox Mobile, a powerful online user platform for mobile apps and games.
Joe Farrell
Over the course of his 22 year visual effects career, Joe has been instrumental in designing amazing visuals for films, television and commercials.
Joe has collaborated with directors Martin Scorsese, Jon Favreau and Clint Eastwood on multiple projects. In 2011 he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects for his work on “Hereafter”.
