Tangerine had the privilege to work with LA 2024 Olympic organization on multiple projects over a nine month period.

We started by creating a 45 second commercial to concept the idea of having the opening of the Olympic games ceremony spread over two iconic stadiums. We developed two single moving camera shots that involved tens of thousands of motion captured stylized digital people. The two stadiums where converted from architectural CAD files and correctly positioned with Los Angeles landscape. A flurry of visual flare and hair raising music and mission accomplished.

The next project was the planned city inspection from the IOC delegation. A special group of members that spend a few days reviewing all the venues and transportation and accommodation for the proposed city games.

However many of the venues that LA 2024 proposed where going to be temporary stadiums that would be built mere months before the games. The benefit of lower costs to keep tabs on the cities budget for the games. Tangerine was asked to create an App that could be location based and augment the real world setting with the addition of the proposed stadium designs.
